Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a renowned healthcare system to hire a Behavioral Health Technician/Certified Medical Assistant in Boulder, CO. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in supporting clients on their recovery and treatment journey while working with a collaborative and compassionate team under the guidance of the Nursing Director.

Pay- $23- $26.50
Location- Boulder, CO
Type: 6 week contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct client support in an integrated behavioral health program within a community mental health center
  • Manage data entry, tracking, and scheduling to support a disease management and stepped care approach
  • Obtain and record vital signs, summarize client history, and collaborate on follow-up care
  • Assist in case management, connecting clients to wellness services and essential resources
  • Administer medications, maintain Medication Administration Records, and ensure proper documentation
  • Facilitate outreach to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and other healthcare providers
  • Verify client financial and demographic information for accurate records in the electronic health system
  • Support the Behavioral Health Home care model, working alongside healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in direct client care within a behavioral health, hospital, medical office, residential treatment center, homeless shelter, or community agency setting
  • Certification:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
  • If CMA, certification must be from AAMA, NHA, AMT, or another accredited program (proof required)
